Very rough animation of Voyage along Jefferson Drive, from the Sun to Uranus. While watching the video refer to the site map below. The inner Solar System is located in front of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Jupiter and Saturn are located on either side of the Museum’s main entrance. Near the end of the video, Uranus can be seen in the distance at the end of the block near 7th street, with the cylindrically shaped Hirshhorn Museum across the street. As you travel from the Sun, consider that once you arrive at Uranus you’re only half way to Pluto (see the map).
Neptune and Pluto are not depicted in the video. Pluto is located near the Smithsonian Castle Building seen in the distance at the end of the video.
